Wonderful experience! Hardware is better than i thought, bedding was great! Only downside is the washroom, which requires some updates. The best part is service, the morning after check in, the front desk staff(the lady on day shift) greeted me even with last name, i was surprised. And they are professional, welcoming and helpful. She deserves a raise. Other staffs are nice too, housekeeping and maintenance staff greeted when pass in the hallway.

Located in the center of town ,Main Street. You can walk to most of the major attractions, Starbucks and Tim Hortons. Staff are extremely polite and helpful. There is parking, elevator, great restaurant, and unique items. From the days gone by on display in the lobby. We will stay here next trip ,good place to relax and unwind.

I was very surprised at the quality of the food and the amazing bed and pillows. It was very good and I slept very well. As with most hotels more attention to accessibility features in the rooms, however this hotel did better than most. Definitely will return and recommend to others.

It breaks my heart to be giving this hotel such a low rating - I have made the Gold Rush my number one choice for business and personal travel into Whitehorse as a Yukon resident. They have large, clean rooms, quality, comfortable beds, and I have had great experiences with their staff. I also enjoy the attached restaurant. Unfortunately I will be severely limited from staying here since their nightly pet-friendly charges have increased. My dog travels everywhere with me, and I will no longer be able to afford an extra $30/night to stay here when other hotels are only charging a $10 pet fee. This is especially disappointing when there is a damage deposit required for the pet staying there anyway - if they do no damage or cause no extra cleaning, you get the damage deposit back; in that case, however, the $30 nightly fee is also highly uncalled for. Very saddened by this, and hope to be able to return with my well-behaved dog some day.

Thank you Best Western Staff for taking care of me during my travels. I really enjoy the at home feel during my stay. I rate your property a 5 star!
