First time for a meal in the Criterion. The Rib fillet steak, slaw and chips were great. The meal was tasty, well presented, the beef a little over cooked for a med rare, but still delicious, had the creamed garlic sauce, a bit thin....needed more garlic but still enjoyable. The meal was presented lovely and with correct portion size. The tables and eating area were clean and spaced out enough to allow room between table conversations. The staff were very polite, helpful and well groomed. The bar, had a good variety of drinks to choose from.❤️

Very good atmosphere. We waited till after 9pm to get our meal though so the kitchen staff need to improve. The steak was worth it but we will not be going back there with our children for a meal on a Saturday night.

Booked the private function room for hubby's 50th birthday. Awesome venue, people that work there couldn't have been more helpful with any requirements. We ordered hot & cold platters which were great except the sandwich platters, they were dried out terribly, 1 more so than the other which was not eaten at all & even the waitress commented & apologized on how dry it was. Otherwise beautiful venue

Good food and a good range of beers on tap. I would have given 5 stars, except i had to wait a very long time at the bar to be served. Like i was invisisble.
