This place was AMAZING!!!! Such a beautiful view of the sunset over the mountains, a gorgeous restaurant, and the food was so unbelievably good! I loved, absolutely loved, the fact that there was a vegan menu (other restaurants take note, this place has options!). The vegan cheese plate - to die for. The vegan hazelnut torte with gelato, I’ve died and gone to vegan heaven. This place is expensive yes, but there are few places where I would say Worth.Every.Penny.

We had a fantastic experience here last night. Made the reservation online and gave them a heads up that we are vegan. When we arrived, our waitress knew about our request and said the chef had a couple of options for us that he would create. We said go for it and it was absolutely delicious. Great staff, great wine, great food, beautiful views.

Used to be one of our favorite wineries since we first visited in 1994. Unfortunately the commercialism took over and although the view remains amazing, the food is well prepared and served and the wine is good it’s a pricey place to hang out. It’s lost its charm and innocence over the years and become an assembly line operation whether tasting or dining. Best Rosé in the valley, probably best in BC, and possibly Canada.

My experience with Quail's gate is based on 1 wine-testing and 2 dinners at their restaurant. First experience wine-tasting was good. They charge $5 fee if you don't buy any wine and waive the fee if you end up buying some wine. I bought a bottle of Pinot Gris and a bottle of Merlot. Based on positive wine-tasting experience we made a reservation for a dinner. Dining facility is very well laid out and the servers well-groomed and charming. The food was tasty and I had two glasses of wine with my dinner. Two hours later I didn't feel well and spent all next day in the bed, and cleansing my system. Obviously I am not a quick learner, since repeated the same experience the following year. BTW I think it was wine, not food. In my opinion, no wine in the world worth one and half day suffering. Since then I pass on Quail's gate winery.

There is something special about this place. I don't know if it's the people, the pinkish sky, the delicious food or dazzling views - I found this place to be relaxing and wonderful. The staff and our server were very helpful and friendly - definitely recommend this place for a special evening.
