Friends and I stopped in for the afternoon wine tasting and it was absolutely the right thing to do. We have 4 wines to try for free, and additional tastes were $1 each. Hearing the story of each wine is helpful too. I bought a few bottles of different varieties and will share them with my family. And I will return in late April for the Strawberry wine which is just wonderful. Buying in quantity is a good idea for the discount. Go once a year and stock up. The prices are very reasonable but the variety is vast.

Great wines and a fun experience. Tastings are free. It’s located in the Settlement Shops - a couple old multi-level repurposed buildings with lots of other fun shops to visit. Cedarburg Spice and Settlement Gold are our favorites. You can take your glass of wine outside and enjoy on a patio near a peaceful river.

My wife and I decided to take the tour on a mutual Friday off. We were concerned as we barely made it in time for the last tour of the day (the site suggests you get there a half hour early). Turns out the 3:30 tour on an April Friday is not their busiest time and we were the only ones on the tour. Regardless, our guide Ben was great with the more intimate situation, and made us feel very comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable about both the wines and the historic building the winery is located in. Neither of us are highly educated about wines, but the tour and the staff do not intimidate and are very welcoming. I went expecting to buy one or two bottles after the tasting; wound up buying 12. They have a wide variety, are very reasonably priced, offer bulk discounts (10% off when you purchase 12), and buying 12 gets you membership to their "case club" with exclusive tastings and events. I highly recommend Cedar Creek and will make it a point to return.

Just bought their Cedarburg Spice wine to try something different. The best part about it was the fact that I have never tasted anything like it before. It was sweeter than I expected but had flavors that reminded me of Christmas. Would definitely recommend.

Extra tasting samples. Great wine. Really reasonable prices.
