Went for Mother's day. An absolutely wonderful experience as always. I go up there a few times every summer. The grounds are beautiful with an awesome view. Lunch at the Sunset Bistro was fantastic (as always). Service was on par and the food was exquisite. They are really accommodating about food allergies Prices are comparable to most other winery bistros. I've been there for lunch, dinner, ordered off the menu and had their buffets and I have never been disappointed. The only negative I have is, at times, some of the staff in the tasting room could be a little more enthusiastic. I have had some awesome people serving me there though and I never regret stopping in for a taste or two.

A quaint winery. I liked the complimentary wine tasting. The winery is definitely targeted at larger tour groups with the golf set outside and the picturesque setting. However, would have been nicer if they didn’t have a tasting table with solely Asians assisting Asians. Being an Asian who speaks fluent English, when I walked up to one of non-Asian tasting tables, no one asked if I needed help. One of the girls who worked there looked at me and then started talking to her friend telling her friend how slow it was. I didn’t get any assistance until I walked up to the tasting table with all the Asians; felt a bit racist.

Laid back, beautiful views, contemporary cuisine, friendly staff, and good wines. We were a large group and they were very accommodating, even down to helping us get 3 taxis back to our hotel. Don’t leave with out trying the hazelnut choc cake!

Very disappointed. We left not even getting to try the wine. There was no one to assist. Everyone was focussed on the bus tour people. The staff that were at the outside tasting bar only seemed to serve one couple at a time. The food in the bistro (which we had before going to the tasting) was average with portions on the small side although it was sufficient. Service in restaurant was very good though. Not worth the hype or distance considering the many other wineries around.

My review only covers wine-tasting bar and the wine itself. My first visit to Pyramid Winery was in 2014 and I liked their wines so much that I chosen Cipes Brut for my own wedding reception. We visit Summerhill Pyramid Winery every summer, as I like their wines and always curious to try something different each year. We noticed winery became busier and sometimes we waited to be served, however staff was friendly and acted well under pressure from the guests ;) I believe this winery earned it's popularity.
