Best winery in Door County! California grapes. Great varieties. Love being a wine club member and the free wine tastings whenever we visit. Every 4-6 weeks we get another two bottles. We could have it shipped but love having the excuse to drive up from Milwaukee to pick it up and see old friends. Staff are knowledgeable and terrific, especially Diane and Michael, who always remember our names even if it has been a couple of months. Tapas bar in the summer with outdoor seating and live music makes it a terrific venue.

My fiance and I have been here multiple times and we enjoy the winery every time we go. We usually do the tastings but have also just sat on the patio and had a glass of wine and enjoyed the scenery. We haven't eaten there yet but when the weather gets nicer we will. For us the staff is always friendly, Michael has helped us the past three times we've been tasting and he is friendly, funny and knowledgeable of the wines. Can't wait to get back there 👍👍

Stop in for a rasting on my visit to the north and glad that I did. The wine tenders, Megan and Michael, were both very pleasant and knowledgeable of their products. Myself, I prefer reds and their selection was great. I would suggest if you are in the area, you have to include this in your things to do.

Be prepared to pay $8 or $12 to sample their wine. They do not grow their own grapes. The grapes are imported from California. Nice atmosphere people were friendly.

So frustrated with our visit to Stone’s Throw. Before we even got all the way inside a crotchety lady greeted us by telling us to close the door because we are letting cold air out. Moved on to wine tasting, we stood at the bar without even being acknowledged so we headed across and lucky found the only person in the place with a personality. She helped us through a tasting but the whole experience was unsettling. It is my thought that this winery thinks they are in Napa Valley California serving the rich and famous. Well this is Wisconsin, a friendly greeting and not being talked down to will go a long way for this miss placed winery.
