A modern design. Very knowledgeable staff. Their wine is deliciously complex and approachable. It truly was a treat to visit Alpha Omega. I ended up having a very insightful and informative conversation with the wine educator I was assigned. The tasting area overlooks St. Helena Hwy. The fountains are a lovely touch to the scenery especially since they don’t overwhelm the view of the mountain range.

Their sign says open til 6pm. Last tasting starts at 5:30pm. This was July 5th. We were running a bit late because of an accident about 1 mile from them. We pulled in at 5:25pm. I had our group get out at the front door to sign up before 5:30. I parked the car. As I walked up to the entrance at 5:28pm we were all very rudely told that we could not come in. We didn’t even get inside the door. We will never go back there. I can not believe how unbelievably rude they were! If I could give them a zero star I would but you have to at least give 1 to leave a comment.

Great location for a group to go. Call and see if you need a reservation. My wife and I split one of their tasting menus, of which they had three different price points. The wine we had were great and I would recommend coming here for a great time. The staff are very knowledgeable and will do anything to make your experience a great one.

Absolutely requires a reservation before 2. I arrived at noon and was asked for a reservation or wait for 45 minutes. Even though their website states they don’t require a reservation for less than 6 people. For people who are trying to stick to a schedule this is not explicit on their website. Showed up with 2 people and was immediately asked for a reservation. Referred them to their website and was told I had to wait 45 minutes. There were over 25 seats available and 15 visitors sitting around (so plenty of room for a walk in) but we were told to wait. They don’t do wine by glass and don’t let you buy a bottle and drink onsite unless you’re a wine cellar member. We left and went to Cakebread to spend our money.

They were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Accommodating (we arrived before 2 on a Saturday so no reservations required) and we came with a dog. They seated us right away, were attentive, so nice to the dog and the setting and wines were wonderful. Highly recommend
