Amazing and beautiful winery both inside and out. I've been here quite a few times and every time has been great. The wines are among the nicest i have had and the staff are always so welcoming, friendly and very knowledgable about their wines, Charlene and Alana are great to mention but a few names. Would recommend anyone to go visit and have a tasting.

It was just okay. Went there as part of a tour of several wineries but this was the only one that didn't wow us at all (other than the pretty landscape). Staff were friendly but didn't really seem too interested in the people there for tastings. Poured the wine a d walked away. All other places took time to tell us about their wines and about their history. And the food was terrible. Not in taste but in style. They hand you a list to check off what you want to eat for your 'picnic'. But they don't really tell you that the cheeses are whole wheels of cheese and the smoked salmon is just a can of salmon handed to you. No presentation at all. Not even a fork to take the salmon out of the can with. And they were out of a lot of items. So basically we ended up with a $9 baguette cut in 2, 2 blocks of cheese and a can of salmon. They were out of chutneys, jams and the only other meat, pepperoni. For such a nice winery I would have assumed that you could at least present the salmon in a dish and not just handing us a can off the shelf of your gift shop. I mean I know you want people to be able to eat anywhere in the vineyard but we said we were eating inside. It would have been nice to actually enjoy the experience. Very disappointed.

Stellar service by Meaghan, beautiful state. We arrived to look and ended up with a tasty, well informed sampling of several whites and reds. The L'Orange stood out, vatted in an imported Terracotta vessel, all parts of the grape in, leaving a seed dyed copper hue. On the roof, gentle tannins trace the swallow, dry yet the German fruit pops out. The 2016 Pinot Noir is one of the best representations of old world nose, PUNGENT, that could stand to be bolder though does a good job as is. The weight is light on the tongue, tannins delicate on the roof and even. The fruit is far from forward though it is there and it takes away from the finish as I am left with a slight sweetness in my mouth. I believe this to be of the quality to a French Burgundy or its Washington State cousin in the Willamette Valley. Comox Valley has temperate climate similar to those inland areas. The bottle may mateur a slight to dampen the fruit, but I am picky with pinots and this bottle is great at its value. Go!
