This combo distillery and cidery is hidden in a barn-like structure past Roche Harbor. They are only open for tastings on Saturday afternoons. Of all the alcohol tastings I have ever been on, this was the most descriptive! Pours were small, but it's free, so you can't really complain.

Definitely go on a Saturday if you can, they give free tastings. A fun cidery built in a renovated barn. They offer cider and now various liquors. Difficult to find though

My wife and i found the ladies working the front of the building to be very friendly and knowledgeable. The gentleman doing the tour inside was equally knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all of our questions and it was an interesting little tour. This is a very small family run business and from what I understand, the profit from it is negligible. At least one of the woman who was working the front of the building was up from Seattle on her weekend off to help out the family business. We were there in May and it was amazingly hot. It must be very hard to do that job June through August. I read the other reviews. I think the place deserves better. Yes, the prices were a bit steep. But coming from a very small distillery such as this, it shouldn't be a surprise. My wife and I bought two bottles. Would I have if I saw them in a liquor store at that price? Probably not. But it was part of the fun of being in the San Juan's. My wife has really enjoyed the bottle of Pommeau (not my style though). And I have enjoyed sharing a bit of the bottle of Spy Hop Gin with friends out on our front deck in the evenings while telling them about our wonderful weekend at Roche Harbor.

Enjoyed a wine tour inside. The guy working was very pleasant. We didn't buy any of the wine/cider, since it wasn't really our style.

What a fun place to visit. The owners were very kind and explained their distilling process in a very engaging way. Their Pommeau is a gem.
