Since this winery is right in town where I work (and less than 15 minutes from where I live), it seemed like a no-brainer to give it a try. When we did so a few years ago, we weren't too impressed. However, we decided to swing by again since we had tasting there included in our "Winter in the Wineries" passport, and we really enjoyed it. The wines here are all blends, so that alone makes it unique -- you get to try styles and varietals not normally found in Napa Valley, but on top of that, some of the blends and flavors themselves are very unique (and, while we don't like them all, we find many of them to be quite good!) So, we ended up joining their wine club. Between being so close, and having some interesting wines and flavors we've never had anywhere else, and having some okay (not the best, but not bad) club member perks, we figured we'd give it a try. The vibe/branding here is also fun and interesting, albeit a bit "hipster" or (as another reviewer put it) "millennial." We wouldn't have fallen for the branding alone, despite the nice labels and tasting room atmosphere that is part retro-garage feel, part rock-and-roll, part speakeasy. The downsides are: (1) the wines are moderately pricey, and (2) this place is frequently crowded, and they don't always seem to have the best system/plan for dealing with those crowds. For example, half of the building is a "reserved seating" area for club members... the problem is, that area (a) seems to have worse service (last time we went, it took 15 minutes before anybody even spoke to us), and (b) is often MORE crowded than the front tasting bar, which kind of defeats the purpose.

We really enjoyed the tasting and the knowledge of the employees. It was a great experience.

Awesome wine, more interesting than what you get at one of the more "mainstream" wineries. Very friendly, cool people who work here too. I recommend making a reservation if you're coming during peak season, or try to be the first tasting of the day.

Awesome new age winery, Sam was great. Stop by for a non traditional wine tasting!
