One of my absolute favorites. Sleeping Giant offers a wide variety of fruit wines, the tasting list is two pages long! Not to mention there is a free wine tasting and always very friendly and passionate staff. The wines are some of the cheapest and best value for your dollar in all of the Okanagan. Don’t forget to check out their ice cream/sweets shop attached to the tasting room! A perfect place to bring children for a family ice cream stop.

We were able to sample a good variety of jams & jellies (even Coffee Jelly!?). Unlike most other wineries in Kelowna, the wine-tasting room was not crazy packed, so we were able to take our time with free samples. Dessert wines happened to be on special, so we took advantage! Awesome place to visit on a super-hot day as they have a great selection of ice cream plus numerous picnic benches out front in the shade. Great gift shop filled with unique gift ideas!

Great experience. Friendly staff, great wines, kid friendly with ice cream and other treats for them to taste. Their fruit wines were some of the best I've ever tasted.

I found it very special winery. The variety of fruit wines is huge. Don't mix it with Iced wines, because they arent that sweet. They have table fruit wines which are dry to medium sweet, as long as dessert wines, where the switness is higher. You can find any of your preference, good pairing for summer dishes, cheese, or just itself. The shop also sell gifts and local sweets. The apple jelly candies are sooooo nice, i wish i bought more. See you next year tho!

Sleeping Giant, which is also paired up with Summerland Sweets, has to be one of the smallest but most special wineries I have ever been to. Their fruit wines are top notch, and I couldn't refer any other winery to compete with their wide variety of fruit wines. Summerland Sweets has a very artisan feel, and there a bunch of unique items which can be picked up there. They also have a small ice cream stand, which really helps if you have kids with you.
