The staff here are welcoming and knowledgeable. I tried the dry Riesling here last year and regretted not picking up a bottle of this award winning wine - they’re not a winery I had heard of much and maybe they get overlooked but they’re worth the trip! They were kind to hold our wine as we looked around fishtown. I tried the cider (usually not a cider fan) but the blackberry cider was crisp and not very sweet - worth the try!

All the wines sampled were excellent. My favorite was the unoaked chardonnay. The staff was extremely personable and easy to get along with. I will make this a must-go for future visits/vacations.

Verterra Winery is our go-to place for great wines. Both reds and whites and exceptional, and their Tundra Ice Wine is just flat out amazing. The tasting room is relaxed and inviting, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and make you feel at home. We have also attended special events at their Ridge venue, enjoying the first-class facilities and world-class views. Verterra just knows how to do it right.
