Great wines combined with outstanding service make this a must see venue. Nissen wines is located just south of Hartington Nebraska off of Highway 12. Highway 12 is been designated the Outlaw Trail by the state of Nebraska. This winery offers some of the finest wines in the upper Midwest. Featuring cold climate Grapes. Tim and Dave Nissen are the brothers who started this winery over a decade ago. Dave focusses on growing the grapes and Tim focusses on making the wine. Is it careful blend and a delicate balance that suits the market nicely. The venue is large and José variety of weddings and events. They have a series of wines that focus on various outlaws from the late 1800s and into the 1900s. Outlaws such as Jesse James, Kid Wade, Sam Bass, DOC Middleton and James Capone. Their labels are fantastic as is the wine!
