We hadn't planned on stopping, but saw the barrels out front and decided to give it a go. The staff was polite, down to earth, but not overly friendly. The wines were all good and my wife and I ended up buying some bottles and a growler of the cin-girl cider.

The menu of wines varied more than other wineries. The staff took the time to help me choose what would be best for my palate.

a wide selection of wine to enjoy.

My husband and I spent this past weekend in northwest Michigan visiting the area wineries, and Good Harbor Vineyard was a wonderful place to start. They have a self-guided wine tour, in which they explain to you the process they go through to make the wines, and you get to look down into their work area. The bartender we worked with was very nice, and gave us suggestions on different wines to try based on what wines we did or didn't like. They had a very good selection, and we ended up taking home one of their Rieslings, which is crisp and delicious. :) I would definitely recommend Good Harbor Vineyard to a friend.

We went here with high expectations from a recommendation. However, I found the ones I tasted diluted and watery. The only ones I liked were the Riesling and the Harbor Red. But not enough to buy them.
