Had a lovely time here today as part of a bike winery tour. The ladies who greeted us were very friendly, and the girl who took us on the tour (high school geography teacher) was very fun and knowledgeable about the wine and estate. I loved learning about the history of Reif Estates, the climate and soil conditions that make Reif and the Niagara region a great place for making wine, and the wine-making process. All the wines we tried were delicious, especially the ice wine! Thanks for a great time :)

Reif was the last stop on our wine tour and we had Calvin. He was amazing trying to figure out the type of wines we liked and didn't and made us try a few we never thought we would like. He was very friendly and knew a lot about the ingredients and different pallets everyone had. He let us try more wines then he told us which were all really good. They also have a beautiful property. Would highly recommend.

Warmly greeted immediately upon arrival. Always a staple on our visits to Niagara on the Lake. Good variety of wines with a good tasting experience. Great outdoor space and gift shop, provided non-alcoholic beverages to those in our party who don't drink. They also accommodate large parties well, and without taking away from the experience of smaller groups.

My husband and I went mid day on a Thursday. We had a flight including the late harvest Vidal, the orange wine and the Vidal icewine. My husband likes off-dry wines and these were very tasty. After the tasting, we had lunch in the garden. The garden is beautiful, the food is quite good and reasonably priced. We were very happy with our visit.

Reif Estate Winery is the oldest family owned winery in the region. Mr Reif came from Germany in 1976 and bought 125 acres of land. Next year he planted vines brought from back home where his family was making wine since 1636. It took about 5 years to have the first vintage. Here they are growing 18 types of grapes and as of now they are making about 30 to 40 types of wines. They are the pioneers of ice wine in the region, for which they are getting awards every year. This year they got the Canadian wine producer award for 2017. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience.
