Great environment! Went for the 4th of July fireworks. It was a great time. Everyone (who drinks) was $5 you received a glass and a wine tasting. Bottles were able to be purchased as well. Wines were great and staff was friendly. They had a live band and food truck. Games were out on the lawn and pony rides for the kids. Everyone had a great time

Not terribly impressed by their wines or facility but loved their gift shop. Many of the wines had a very green taste or were vinegar-like. Their Lake Side Sunset was the best of the group but still not worth the purchase. Many other wineries in the area I would recommend over them.

We tasted two dry whites, two dry reds, then a sweet white and a sweet "sunset wine" made with Muscat Hamburg for a hint of red. The Lake Side White was 3.5% residual sugar and Lake Side Sunset was 4.5% residual sugar. They were made for sitting at Lake Anna on a hot summer day. They were light on dry reds, with several still in the barrel. They had also run out of their Montmorency Cherry juice, so they were out of their Concerto wine which contains 10% of the juice.

Nice place with a nice atmosphere. I enjoyed listening to the live music in a comfortable environment. The only draw back was the tasting part. So, the owner kept eyeballing the amount being poured into the tasting glasses. The nice lady pouring made a joke about it, but I just thought it was in kind of bad taste (not pun intended) for him to be lingering around over us watching how much she was pouring. If you're having issues with the amounts being poured during the tasting, then address it quietly, but not in front of your customers.
