I like visiting local winery once i a while. Tawse Winery is a nice place to visit. Ask their very friendly personnel to give you a tour of the facility next time you are around. The winery is running very environmentally friendly operations. ...Maybe that is the reason why the wines are so overpriced... It is very unfortunate that local wines are so expensive. This is the only reason why I give them a 4-star rating. To the owner: Please find a way to drop the price: it make it very hard to buy local wines. Ontario has good (however not the best) wines. And it is the shame that I will buy the wine elsewhere simply because your wine is expensive.

Enjoyed the wines. Great whites and very good reds. Tasty cider. Sparkling rose was my wife's favorite. Very nice tasting room. Highly recommend.

Very knowledgeable and personable wine steward. Lovely setting. Organic and bio-dynamic vineyard. Raise sheep and lambs. Learned about icewine for the first time. Liked every wine we tried and went home with the 2012 Robyn's Block Chardonnay. The Twenty Valley vineyard region of Ontario has a great deal to offer.

The owner shows pride of ownership in this property. Heavily influenced by French wineries. Super cute courtyard. Nice wine boutique.
