If I had to describe Potomac Point with one word, it would be wonderful. From the scenic views, to the helpful staff, to the shuttle service, everything about Potomac Point helped make our day so very special. The main staff, Chelsea (marketing manager) and Sydney (event coordinator) moved the moon and stars to accommodate us. The chefs/wait staff were also super helpful (and cooked the best flat iron steaks, according to my husband!). The sun setting over the vineyard created a view that took our breath away. Chelsea even helped set us up with a shuttle from the Courtyard Marriot to help our guests get back to the hotel safely. My husband and I cannot recommend any other place before Potomac Point. We can't wait to come back, just to enjoy a nice glass of wine and reminisce.

This is such a romantic spot with all the charm of feeling like I'm really in Italy again. It's a lovely place, relaxing, and full of ambiance. The wine I had was delicious and the food is good. I really liked this place.

This place lacks patience. Their saving grace is that the event they threw was a lot of fun. I recommend them for that at least. The decor was contrived. A brand new winery made to look like it's has some sort of history. If the winery is new, just make it look new and modern. It will age with time, that's the only way it gets that traditional feel without having an artist come in and do the job properly. There were 3 of the 12 wines I tasted that were palatable. Grapes harvested too early maybe? The explanation of the wines was either dishonest or inexperienced. No one could like their Merlot; it smelled and tasted like cleaning fluid. Their Cabernet was described as "earthy;" you know the taste you get in your mouth after a car passes by on a dirt road? Yeah, that's not earthy, that tastes like dirt.

I rarely do reviews but felt it necessary to give a review for this place. Me and a coworker met for Brunch this past Sunday and had a great time. Overall, the food was good, but the eggs and potato portion of my meal was a bit greasy. They initially forgot to bring out my side of potatoes, however, the waitress was quick to remedy the issue. After our brunch, we decided to do the premium wine tasting; which was the best part of the trip. The $12 price was a steal for the amount of wines you get to taste and our attendant JoJo was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about all the wines and the cute little stories/history he told for each bottle was very intriguing and entertaining. We didnt feel rushed to get through the tasting and he was very patient. We were also allowed to keep our glass as a keepsake!! I will definitely be back ;).

I absolutely love this place! I've been here a handful of times now, and keep going back for more! They have two different tastings available at the tasting bar, and a little something for everyone! The wine attendants are always so sweet and knowledgeable about the wines, and the staff is friendly as can be. Their Sunday brunch and mimosas are to die for! Can;t wait until my next visit!
