Came in for a one day winery vacation. This was our first stop. The tasting room was supposed to be open at 12. The volunteer was very nice and said she was waiting on the boss. He had to be there to serve the wine and would be there 15-20 mins. Well, about 40 mins later he never showed up so we left. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. I felt like I was in heaven, but it was a wasted trip up there.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, a very nice Sat in late October seems like it should have drawn a crowd, but did not. The wines were strange tasting in most varieties. Maybe I shouldn’t have cleared my palate with chewing gum. The final straw, though, was that a crop spraying operation was going on in the vineyard, and the spray was blowing toward the outdoor lounge area. That was neither pleasant nor smart on the part of the operator. We left at that point.

I called a head of time to confirm that they were open. I wish the person i talked to had told me there was a wedding goig on. I felt very out of place. Waisted trip.

Four bottles purchased and we did not finish any of them. there was a strong vinegar overtone to all of them. We will not be back.
