I looked up this yarn store when visiting Kingston last summer. After finding it, I was excited by the beautiful display of yarns in store. Having recently rediscovered knitting, I shared my enthusiasm with the store owner. I had knit with Indie yarns (yarns dyed by small businesses). I was sharing a scarf I had made with yarn by Fleece Artist in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The store owner's was critical of small Canadian indie dyers, and supportive instead of large established yarn companies. She had nothing good to say about my favourite local yarn store, claiming the only good yarn store in the Ottawa area was her friend's store in Orleans. That's fine. I love yarn, and would have been open to buying indie yarn or yarn from established companies. However, the owner of the store became so verbally agressive towards me (as a sometime purchaser of indie yarn) that I left the store. I was really upset (and writing about this a year later). I would not go back, despite the beautiful stock.

Great selection with pretty standard pricing for similar items. It was all natural fibres too. They had the needles I had been looking for so that was a bonus.
