First winery we visited on our first visit to PEC. Had specifically selected this winery to visit after reading about it being off grid. We were greeted by the owner, and what followed was an enjoyable and educational visit. it was a pleasure to listen to the passion with which the owner described the operation, and shared his knowledge and love of the grape and wine! The wines themselves were absolutely delicious and unique. We highly recommend their wines!!!

Love both Redtail Vineyard's Riesling because it is dry and crisp and the wonderful Chardonnay. The taste is beyond special. And Pauline & Hebert bring old world class to wines in the County with their wealth of information. We are happy to have you here in Consecon! .

My fiancé and I enjoyed our visit to Redtail Vineyard. Gilbert was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their wine making process. They are unique as they are very environmentally conscious. We sampled a flight of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Riesling and we enjoyed them all! We went home with a bottle of their Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.

A labor of love is the way this wine-maker describes his work. It shows. Upon retiring from a high-pressure management position, he started this small, almost unique vineyard and winery. Completely off the grid, totally organic, vegan, handmade, and as natural as possible, make this an unusual place. The Pinot Noir presents a big, fruity nose with a tease of the fermentation. The flavour is complex, balanced and expressively true to variety. I especially enjoyed the long, spicey finish. Not sure how long the place will stay the way it is as they are trying to sell the whole operation, house, vines, winery, so get there while you can.
