I don't leave many reviews but I enjoyed the hospitality and the wines at this small producer. Chris is the one-man show who runs this place, using unusual varietals that don't have great reputations in the wine world but he's done an excellent job with them, creating fruit forward and easy-drinking wines. We also got to meet his sheep and his young daughter gave us big smiles and proudly showed us one of their hens. They seem like a lovely and hardworking family and we were pleased with the overall experience and were happy to support their adventure in winemaking.

Great experience, enjoyed the home grown feel. There are sheep and chickens on the lot which was cute. I very much enjoyed the wine. Very different. I will definitely be visiting again!

This family owned and operated winery and vineyard is everything you should be looking for in your visit to Prince Edward County. The wines are distinctive and a nice departure from the sometimes repetitive County wines. The owners are friendly and helpful, generally a pleasure to chat with and super informative, volunteering lots of information about their methods, their unique form of weed control (adorable miniature sheep) and their wines. The wines themselves are refreshing, memorable and delicious. I loved the partially wild fermented red. Even better was the extremely reasonable price (about $16/ bottle) another nice change from most of the local wineries. This small winery should definitely be on your list while you're in PEC. I can't wait to visit again.
