Wonderful tour and tasting experience at Foreign Affair winery today. Ed was so knowledgeable and personable and answered all our questions. Beautiful grounds for a picnic lunch! The winery itself is small but lovely. The retail shop is gorgeous and full of delicious wines and quality items for purchase. Beautiful presentation overall. Love the wine labels and the history of them. Very Canadian and cheeky. Fabulous for gifts.

Great winery making unique wines. Been a regular for 10 years. Looking for high quality that's a little different, then this is the place.

Awesome customer service! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff! Their wines are some of the best I've ever had. Joined their wine club immediately at checkout!

Great wine and winery. The first to make appasimento style wine in Ontario. Those who work behind the bar are knowledgeable and friendly. The wine is created in an apassimento style (drying the grapes before winemaking) which creates a beautiful complex wine. I highly recommend this winery, they make top notch wines. You can choose from a reasonably priced wine that is very good to a more expensive wine that you will take great pleasure in enjoying. They have 3 prices for tastings; 3 wines for $10, $5 per tasting for their 100% appasimento wines or $10 per tasting for their more limited and vintage wines. All wines are wonderful but pay for a $5 or $10 tasting as well as the regular 3 wines for $10 tasting. It will show you the variety of what is made at Foreign Affair and how will made it is.

Visited in September 2017 My husband and I are from Alberta and take a trip every year to BC wine country so we were unsure what to expect from an Ontario Winery and we were very pleasantly surprised! We were greeted by Matt and told of the wine tasting (3 for $10 for the Partial Appassimento wines and $5 each tasting for the 100% Appassimento & limited edition wines) these fees waived with the purchase of a bottle. We found the wines to be impressive in body and flavour across the board and Matt was very knowledgable and attentive during the experience. We will be back on our next trip to Ontario!
