Drove 30 minutes to enjoy the horse drawn carriage rides and to purchase a Christmas tree that is advertised on Facebook, on their website and on their voicemail. We arrive to no one being there and then 15 minutes later a lady shows up to inform us they have none of the things advertised and offered no apology but a ton of excuses. If you don't have these things why are they advertised that you do and the advertisements are still up and not edited for accuracy? Won't be back.

The apples are delicious. The playground for the kids is large and there are ducks, chickens, bunnies, and goats by the playgrounds. Definitely don't leave without getting your apple cider and fresh donuts. They melt in your mouth.

family friendly and the people there are very nice.

My family and I very much enjoyed McCallums apple orchard overall. There are, however, a few things that added to my decision to give it 4 stars instead of 5. Everything was pretty expensive and they seemed to charge for a lot. For example, they charged for cups after we paid almost 6 dollars for a half gallon of cider. They wanted to charge us to take us back in the orchard to pick our own apples. We are young so we walked but that would just be a nice addition to the experience instead of charging for it. Perhaps specific times for rides might cut down on the cost for them. The apples were good. The trees were trimmed so it was fairly easy access to the trees. Few briars but no big deal. The rows, however, were not easy to get down. We had a stroller and the grass was really high. If it wasn't for the large tires, it wouldn't have been easy to get down the rows. This combined with the apples on the ground made it difficult. Up front they have a playground area as well as ponies, chickens, goats, and bunnies, which was nice for the kids. All in all we were happy with our trip. On a side note, it looks like they had a corn maze and were setting up for a haunted hayride and/or zombie ride? It's October so lots of fun stuff to do. Hope this helps.

The new owners have really done a lot to turn things around. Lots of fun things for the kids. There is a play area, animals to pet, yummy cider and donuts, and of course apples. Come down and see for yourself.
