Beautiful atmosphere, very cozy, good to have a quick bite and a few wine testing or even to spend the whole evening drinking great quality wine. Romantic and and lovely to start a hen do 💙 I loved it!

Ideal for: a selection of wines in a fun setting. This is maybe a second or third date spot whether you know wine or just loving drinking it. What I like is the variety - it's a great concept!

You get a card (£5 deposit) which you load up with cash (you're refunded any you don't spend). Then you wander round and check out some lovely bottles of wine which, using a process of magic and witchcraft, can be purchased in either trial, medium or large glass size (in addition to by the bottle). This means you can try all sorts of different things without having to invest in a bottle blindly. Staff are delightful and happy to direct you to wines you might enjoy (and were good enough to provide some tasters for me). Great atmosphere, a few comfy chairs towards the centre of the room, tables for groups who are eating towards the rear.

Avoid going here. What a horrible service!!! We were waiting for a board of cheese and meat for 40min, they bring it with bad manners without bread, then they bring us the bottle of wine after another 40min without glasses... we had to clear the table from previous clients, dirty and messy. To be honest, London has so many cheese and wine places... choose any other over this one, the service makes the whole experience stressful and frustrating.

Great selection of wines served through a very convenient way to taste as many as you would like. Bottles are spread throughout the space. You use a prepaid a card to take tastes or half/full glasses. Of course tasting all night will run you a large bill, but that's the cost of variety. Try a few, buy a bottle you like, and you're in for a nice evening. The food is really good too. It's all simple fare, but well prepared and well-paired with the wines. Don't miss the arancini, which while rich, are light, avoiding the plodding stodginess that often serves as their downfall.
