I had a very negative experience with Fine and Rare Wines (UK). Having reach out to gain appraisal for my small wine collection which I have amassed through auctions over the years I was met with communication from Evelyn Aurellus-Haddock whom not only didn’t reply to my message regarding the valuation was quite curt in her response when chased (1 week later) and quite rude in her response to my questioning regarding her appraisal. The appraisal prices too were quite short of what various tracking websites states their valuation. I will hold onto the bottles for now and use another service when I have amassed more of a collection in years to come. The reviews on here seem to be mostly regarding purchasing rather than commissioning Fine and Rare to sell wine- hence their high reviews in this. I would not recommend them to sell wine on your behalf.

A case of wines I paid for didn’t arrive and salesperson was very unhelpful. In mid 2017, I bought & fully paid for a case each of 2015 George’s Lignier Bonne Mares & CDLR. The BM arrived at FRW 2 mths ago n I’m still waiting for my CDLR. For 4-5 weeks I’ve been emailing my sales contact James Matthias to clarify why my CDLR hasn’t arrived but I got NO response from him. I had to call him- he said the winery didn’t send enough cases... but I had paid in full for it in mid 2017! Instead of helping me resolve my issue, he kept on blasting me emails on sales offers. When I wrote to tell him I won’t be buying from FRW till he resolved my issues n all my wines are shipped to me, he went SILENT and instead I started receiving blast sales emails from a Simon Brewster. I even got 2 sales emails from my ex-salesperson’s email acc (who had left FRW last yr) and signed off as the CEO of FRW. All Very Strange. I’ve bought over 20 cases of wines from FRW over the past 2 Years. My ex- sales person Weibo handled everything well and I had 2 shipments to Singapore in good order. I am very disappointed and frustrated with how FRW sales personnel and Mgt are handling client purchases now. Is there some Mgt issues at FRW that clients shld know? Silence certainly doesn’t give clients any confidence in FRW.

I am very satisfied with the very high level of service provided by Fine + Rare Wines. They are my 'go to' Wine Merchant for the best the Wine world has to offer. Never fussy or stuffy they are service driven and incredibly friendly. I am so impressed with the knowledge and can do attitude from C.E.O. and all the members of staff.

The company has been easy to work with, and has provided nice options into the European wine market along with multiple shipping options back to the States. My consultant, Stephanie Sultana, has been helpful, friendly and insightful.

I have been buying wine through FRW for over 15 years. I can and do buy from others as well, but FRW has a huge selection of wines at prices that I can always be sure are either the best or close to best in the market. The service has always been excellent, both before and after purchase. Most importantly, though, I trust them. On the rare occasions when something has gone wrong , they have always fixed it quickly and with minimum hassle, which is more than I can say for some of their competition. Keep up the good work team...
