On our drive back from Montréal to NYC, we decided to stop into Elf's for a tasting. Unlike many tasting rooms, you could tell this one was unique upon walking in the door. It felt like walking into a cozy living room instead of a bar. The bartender and wine/cider maker Tom greeted us and explained a bit about his business, ciders and wines. We decided to go with a wine tasting and cider taking with four pours of our choice. Elf's has some amazing options so it was hard to choose. When my four wines were served they came on an awesomely instagramable wine tree, which was something I had never seen before. All four wines were unique and amazing in their own way, but my favorites were the Adirondack Red which had hints of blueberry and the Betwixt. The ciders were also all standout. My favorite was the rhubarb because of it's distinct sour flavor. The Mac and Maple were also pretty amazing. You really can't go wrong with anything you taste here. We were in on a weekday afternoon but they apparently have food service and live music at other hours. We ended up taking home a six pack of cider and bottle of wine everything was so great. Be sure to stop into this amazing spot!

Unexpected atmosphere more of a pub than winery which was awesome. Very friendly and helpful staff and good wine and cider. Food options were tastey and well priced. Would recommend and definitely go back!

This was our lunch destination on our 22nd wedding anniversary. What a great choice. Tried most if the ciders and wines, all were amazing. I can see why they won so many awards. Ordered a sampler plate and a burger, both were really tasty. Sean, the owner/brewmaster/vintner took great care of us and made the visit personal and perfect. Looking forward to our next visit.

Terrible wine. We did a taster tried 4 wines and 4 ciders. Aside one cider, the Mac, the rest were awful. Cool place, nice view and friendly staff but not a great product.
