I went for a tasting with a few friends and it was awesome. They waive the fee of the tasting if you buy a bottle. Definitely worth it.

Quaint little winery located in the Old Sash Mill off River Street in Santa Cruz. Really wonderful hand crafted wines from the Santa Cruz Mountains and Santa Clara Valley. I am not a big fan of Chardonnay but found there's to be delicous. There Pinot Noir blew me a away. One of the best. SCM Pinots I have had in years. Additionally all six of the wines in my flight were truly good and worth taking home. Finally the staff at Storrs Winery was fantastic. She was warm, welcoming, funny and very knowledge. The whole experience was an absolute delight. I would strongly recommend this place to any who enjoys fine wine.

I love these wine and the folks who create and sell them are quite nice. I discovered them many years ago on one of my frequent Santa Cruz/Monterey trips. They are very consistent and source fruit from some interesting locals that allow them create some lovely and unique wines. Small and well done is the tasting room and not too hard to find.
