To hand cut a key, well that skill has to be developed over decades long experience. To hand cut a obscure key - well, that's talent and experience. And to be honest tradesmen and women - Almost unknown in this day and age. Would I recommend Key Factory? Without a doubt. While they may not tell me what I want to hear, you can take what they say as a absolute fact. Yes, it's not a sleek and shiny shop. Yes, it's not a Key Kiosk. or a home box store with a hundred keys that don't work, or work badly. It's walls are busy, it's stock full of "who know what?" Hand written receipts and - Actual Personal Service. If you want it to work, to fit, and to have it do so for years, well this shop should, and is my, destination. In fact I'd drive across the peninsula in rush hour for this shop to do my keys (or call one of their locksmith vans).

Needed a replacement key and they were very quick and precise. They were also friendly in explaining the process and cost.

I walk in thinking its just a certain type of lock i need easy find. They see the problem and got hung up on it wont work. Tryed to ask what they had anyways and said they could not show me anything. I went to walmart and got the part sad.
