Ran over my keys with my zero turn, he came out when he said he would, made my key, programmed it and made sure it worked on all my locks and even waited to make sure I was able to drive off. These services don't come cheap, but if your gonna be careless with your keys, be prepared to pay the price! Mr Peterson was punctual, polite, and got the job done. Hopefully I won't need him again, but if I do, I know who to call. BTW, pops locks is by far the best name for a locksmith. PS, vans don't run on air, and you cant fix stuff over the phone. That's why it's called an ESTIMATE, not a quote. It's only fair if he charges to come out. Would you drive somewhere to fix something as a customer explained, then when you get there with the years of experience and realize the problem is more expensive or non repairable, for free? I think not. Nothing is free, no one cares about your past problems up until the current issue, this is a business, not a charity!

Paid $80 for him to break my new, expensive and matching door knob, then get offended when we told him we weren't happy with the new knob he put in because it doesn't match and is much smaller than the one we had (meaning we have to paint the door again to hide the paint that was underneath our larger, nice knob). He didn't even gain us access to our house via the door! We gained access due to the stool he let my husband borrow and a small inflatable air bag, so my husband could pop the garage open. A local locksmith quoted me $15 for the job (residential lock out) but they were going to take longer to arrive. Lesson learned. Shop around and Good things come to those who wait. Not satisfied. Out $80 and a gorgeous door knob that he basically called junk (well, it did keep the locksmith out!). I don't mind paying the man for his time, but leaving a client with a broken door knob, then acting annoyed when they ask you to fix the knob and being confrontational after they tell you they aren't satisfied with the new knob that took the place of their old knob is just bad business! If you say no damage and decide you need to damage something, ask your client first. And be reasonable in your pricing, consider both what you did and didn't do! A lot of that job was my husband needing the proper aids to help him open the garage door. Don't price gauge people because they are down on their luck. Feeling really taken advantage of and dissatisfied with the new lock.

My husband called and got a quote for $40 to pop our lock on our car. I called back 2 hrs later to go through with the services. 1st he gets lost and I have to drive someone else's car to meet him and drive him into the neighborhood. He pops the lock than charges me up and the price is $60. He states that was the price 2 hours ago. DO NOT USE THIS LOCKSMITH.

Watch out for the owner if he's on the road driving. His van sports a "Disabled Person" license plate. The only disability I noticed was that he was likely mentally challenged as he drove down I-20 entering at Martintown Road doing 50 MPH all the way across the River. As soon as I was able to pass the guy )uh, on my motorcycle), I understood the mental disability. The jerk was TEXTING WHILE DRIVING! Lesson: Don't break the law if you have your company name and phone number on the vehicle you're driving.

This locksmith was referred to me by my realtor. I called them to get an estimate on changing out 4 locks. The front door had a dead bolt and the knob lock. The back door also had the dead bolt and a knob lock. They said for 4 locks, it would be $70.00. After looking at them, the locksmith said he couldn't do it to where the keys were the same, which was the purpose of calling a locksmith rather than changing it out ourselves. He then pulled out a used gold deadbolt lock out of his van. This same deadbolt is priced new at Lowe's for $15.00. He told me then that it would be an extra $100 for it and to make the keys match. I told him that wasn't what we wanted and couldn't afford to pay that much. He then made me feel uncomfortable standing around and said I would have to pay him $60 just for coming out, even though he wasn't able to render the services I requested when I called in the first place. At that point, I felt forced to pay $70 rather than $60 for someone to do nothing. After it was done, he charged me $85. #8MonthsPregnant #TakenAdvantageOf
