Do not use their locksmith services!! My wife and I recently bought a new house. We locked ourselves out of the house due to a finicky sliding glass door that can randomly lock. Luckily, I had my phone on me and called KeyMe. The rude girl on the phone took my info and just said a tech would call me. As I responded quickly with a question, it didn’t matter, she had hung up. Tech calls me and says he will be there in 30. 50 minutes later he shows up. We walk around the house looking at all locks and he determines the easiest will be the deadbolt at out dual front doors. Tells me it will cost be will be this and this and overall less that $300. I agree to this and he drills the door. We walk in and that’s when the ineptness began. He had not clue what he was doing. After 90 minutes of drilling and making a mess, he said he had to call his colleague to have him come help. The new colleague took nearly an hour to get here and had brought a new door handle to sell me. That wasn’t discussed prior. We agreed he would just put in a new deadbolt after drilling the original. They seemed upset with my wife and I that we wanted what was originally agreed upon and wouldn’t buy their random door handle that wouldn’t match the other on the dual front door. They finally finish and my newly pregnant wife is very upset and stressed, exactly what the doctor told her not to be earlier that morning. They have botched the entire job. Their are metal shavings all over, they scratched and cracked the vintage door handle. So even when we do get a professional to come fix what they screwed up, we won’t be able to use the original vintage door handles. Told him the new deadbolt needs to match all the other keys and he couldn’t so now we have one random key for just the front door. You can see the attached pictures. Now comes the invoice. He explains how there are now all these additional services and twice the labor charge because he called his friend. There was never any discussion about increased price beyond our original discussion agreeing to just under $300. Disputes that the now $620 is what it is now. So more than doubled the price without ever telling us or agreeing to it. Just had a new professional come out to determine cost of fixing and replacing what they had damaged... $435 for new handles, keying to match all the other locks and labor. So all in all, my call to KeyMe because we locked ourselves out of the house is costing me $1,055! I would have been better off breaking a window! Of all the numerous services we have had out to the house since we moved in 3 months ago, this is easily the worst!!

Make a copy of your key yourself? Yes please! So fast, very cute design, and keys that work perfectly!! Best of all, it saved my key blueprint using my fingerprint so I can print another anytime I want. Best of all, it only took 3 minutes to make three copies!
