Excellent service. I lost car keys, so I got online, called a bunch of different places even contacted companies on their websites, by the end of the day frustrated to no end. Every place quoted from $100 to $300 for ignition and door key (different). Then I remembered Fred's Key Shop, did work for our school. I called told them told I lost my keys, they asked for proof that it was my car (documents and license) and for under $100 Bam! I had a new set of keys in minutes. No run around, no b.s. no extra fees no nada. In and out. God bless Freds Key Shop. Go to them, you'll be a customer for life.

I got locked out of my car, leaving my keys inside. I called this place, got a quote, and the guy showed up within about 20 minutes of me calling. Not bad. However, he wanted to charge One Hundred dollars MORE than what I was originally quoted--even after I had asked the guy over the phone twice, what the charge would be for getting my car unlocked. I understand emergency situations like this seems to warrant higher than usual service prices (...I guess...), but it seemed pretty sneaky of them to quote me one price over the phone, only to present me with a charge that's 150% higher when they actually show up to do the work. He did give me a break down of the service fees and why they seemed so high, but to me, a layperson, it all seemed totally arbitrary. I know, businesses reserve the right to set their own prices, but something didn't seem totally fair. Anyway, he got my door opened, even after I balked at this unpleasant surprise. Also, he ended up doing it after we "negotiated" the service charge back down to the price I was quoted over the phone, which seems kind of weird that he would accept such a huge price cut. I didn't think haggling was common in this part of the country.
