My wife left an earlier negative review based on what she saw when she got home from a long day of work without first hearing the full story, so lets hear the other end of it. I called SafeKey First Locksmith out because I had a gun safe with a combination dial that I couldn't get open. I had called several other places that either didn't get back to me or didn't do safes. They were the first place to respond positively, and they arrived within the hour (even quicker than they had promised). When the technician first arrived, he spent a good thirty minutes trying to open the safe without drilling. When that failed, he asked for my permission to start drilling a small hole into the side of the safe, and I agreed. Another thirty minutes later he ran into complications and asked to drill a slightly larger hole and I agreed. Thirty more minutes later he said he was going to have to make an even bigger hole to get in, and I agreed. After a final thirty minutes he was in, and told me the reason I couldn't get into the safe and he had so many difficulties was because the lock cams were jammed. Even though they took much longer than anticipated, they still charged me the same flat rate. The technician then offered to clean up the mess if I had cleaning supplies he could borrow, which I did, not so I sent him on his way. Yes, the operation was messier and more brute force than I had hoped. But it was not entirely unexpected. The technician was courteous, giving me updates and asking for my permission every step of the way. I could have said no and sent him home, but I made the decision to continue. I am perfectly content with the service I received.

I got locked out of my car and called them. Technician came out and charged me 120.00 for 60 seconds of work. That seemed really high at the time, but I had no choice. When I called the company and asked what they charge for that service, they said 45-60. When I told them I was charged 120, there was no solid reasoning behind the charge. I did hang up on the gentleman on the phone before I started to yell, because he shouldn't have to be yelled at for the thieving behavior of a coworker. I sadly won't ever be refunded the difference, but I have learned a valuable lesson about this company.

After calling 3 weeks after my key didnt work, dispatcher told me locksmith who originally did the work would call me back. He called and not only was he rude, he said they only fix keys within 30 days, which it was. Not only that the receipt I have right in front of me clearly states 90 DAYS!!!!!!! HE HUNG UP AND TOLD ME TO CALL HIS OFFICE, AND THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER. DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH THIS SORRY COMPANY!!!!!!!!! THEY DONT DESERVE TO BE RUNNING, TOTAL SCAM! P.s. Thomas was the locksmith, if he is coming you better watch out for that ragedy van and his scamming!

After going through the reviews i chose this company and i am glad i did! Fantastic experience our home was broken into they showed up quicker then the police that i called. Not only fast but very friendly you can tell these guys know what they are doing. In conclusion this was a very terrifying situation but after they secured my house everything was back to normal. Thanks for making me feel safe again!! Will refer to everyone i know.

My brother, purchased a key from this company earlier this year to replace a lost key. The transaction went well but the key ended up falling apart a few months later. The first key transaction was 300$+ but the replacement is 100$.. We have been waiting for days for a replacement key. This company lacks integrity and respect for every conversation the lies begin to increase on the estimated arrival. It’s unprofessional and unacceptable. And finally after the long awaited arrival; this company was unable to get the key fixed and they are closed on New Year’s Eve.
