The people at Harper's lock and key were absolutely fantastic! Thank y'all so much for looking at my ignition and keys and taking the time to figure out what would work. Y'all are amazing, I was sharing a car with my mom and aunt and trying to juggle 3 different/overlapping schedules. It's such a relief to have my car drivable again! Truly thank you all so much!

They were so willing to work with our specific needs when we had an out-of-town crisis, and made us feel valued during the whole process. They were very accommodating, quick with their service, and very fairly priced. Unlike some services, which make you feel dumber when you've clearly done a dumb thing (and honestly, you mostly call a locksmith because you've done a very stupid thing!), they listened respectfully, told us what needed to be done, and responded promptly and precisely. I would definitely recommend this locksmith to anyone in the Springfield area and will be calling them again if I ever need assistance!

I bought a newer used Ford with only one key, and I accidentally turned on the “MiKey” parental controls that apply to specific keys. I had no way to turn off the parental controls without another key, and the dealership cost to reprogram it was going to be around $500. These guys were able to copy my key and reprogram it in minutes. Best of all it only cost $65. These are the local businesses that make Springfield great. Highly recommended and extremely competent.

Went in had broken my house key, Harper key was able to make a new one with me having two pieces! Plus he was only going to charge me $55 to make a new ignition key when the dealership wanted $80... Great service great prices oh and one amazingly awesome German Sheppard that's as cuddly as can be!!!

I've used this lock and key store several times and would have had good things to say about them in the past. However today isn't one of them. I call a day invanced told the person on the phone that I needed a key made for a door lock that the key had been lost and asked how long it would take. I was told no more than 30 min if they weren't busy. I show up today I'm the only one there. The owner tells me it will take atleast two hours I tell him what I was told and got a smart snutty reply well it could take longer I informed him that I live 1hr 30min away don't have have the time to sit around that long and wait. He shrugged his shoulders and says o well. Just lost my bussiness. What happened to customer service.
