This is a mail order service. The kiosks provide 24-hr access to a machine that will scan your keys so that you can have them shipped to you in 3-5 business days. Does the kiosk make keys? Yes. Is it going to be the key you need at 3am? No. Ok, how do I know, but if you live in an apartment building in Manhattan the odds are good that it is part of a master key, tenant key system. The kiosks do not seem to have those. It would be helpful if the app would show you which, if any, kiosks can/do have blanks for your actual keys. It does not.

Nice customer service but the key I needed would take 3-5 business days to ship, it arrived on time but failed to even go in the lock. Spoke to customer service they refunded the cost and asked me to send a picture front and back of the good key against the bad key. I did and they said they'd send me a new key. New key arrived and to my dismay is an exact copy of the bad key... so now i have 2 keys exactly the same that won't go in the lock. Again great customer service but if your product doesn't work (twice) then I can't give a favorable review of the actual product. Ended up being faster (2 min) and cheaper ($1) to go to the locksmith 2 blocks away.

This machine incorrectly copied my key the first time - it was totally off. I tried two more times, once with the same key and another time with another key and the machine hung on me for a few minutes each time when making the keys. Each time I input my correct email and password and it said the password was incorrect. The one thing that did work was all 3 times it charged my card. I called customer service which was incredibly nice and friendly and refunded my money and gave me credit for next time, but this time was awful!

Overall good experience, took about 30% too long to make a key

Poor selection of patterns, and the machine wouldn't recognize my keys
