Nice enough but were unable to effectively copy my elevator key after 3 attempts. They also do not offer refunds. Was able to get it done right in 1 try and for less (with guarantee or money back) at Lendy.

Great guys behind the counter. Never in there more than 5 mins.

I used RBD Lock & Alarm to Secure my Commercial Condo Doors after an attempted break-in some time ago in Little Italy/Chinatown. They were fast, effective and efficient and did an excellent job. I plan to use them again to secure elevator access for my new Tennant.

Went to the nearby "OK Hardware" looking to copy some keys. They were unkind and less helpful. RBD did things OK could not. They were friendlier. They were fast. Glad to have found this place.

I had a mixed experience with this company regarding an alarm system they installed at my business and the subsequent service. RBD was recommended to me, but I cannot recommend RBD to you. I should have known when the upfront installation and service contract was too broadly defined and I had to fight for what we had agreed upon. It's run by two brothers; one is a real fast talker and the other is a nice guy. When I called for customer service one time, the latter's son was a real jerk right off the bat. Dad had to call and apologize. Also when I discontinued service the company charged me for a couple of extra months. I give two stars as opposed to one because most of the staff is friendly, but you're better off choosing a different provider.
