Hate rude owners and I got really creeped out by an almost silent Jim behind the counter. His behavior literally prompted me to ask if he was going to keep a copy of my keys or something. It was weird. I was hoping for a friendlier experience from a neighborhood business but can't recommend this place. I used the hardware store on 8th instead. Got a, "How ya doin?" as soon as I walked in.

Jim was able to copy a key that Home Depot couldn't. Some weird proprietary design that most places that aren't locksmiths don't have, apparently. Cheap, too. I don't think he has much help here so you might have to wait a bit, but the positive side is that Jim will give you his undivided attention to fix your issue or consult on locking mechanisms.

This place always has hard to find keys and I love supporting a local place that has been here forever, as opposed to the big box places. They are always helpful and friendly here.

Quick, affordable, reliable, and friendly. Why can't every shop be like Jim's?
