UPDATE in the below portion:::::: Called today because my keys are stuck in the front door lock. Mike was the person who I spoke with over the phone. I asked for a quote to get the key out and he said it's between $60-$70. When their technician arrived, they quoted $120 plus the $29 fee for having a person come to your home. I ended up paying $162 for something that took about 15 minutes. I don't think its fair to exploit a customer's need to make sure they feel "safe" at home with making sure that the key is not noticeable being stuck on the front door lock. When asked why it was doubled, I was told that it would require more work. I basically had to pay twice the amount of what was quoted over the phone. If others are facing the same issues in the past please reply to my post. I'd like to connect with the Attorney Generals office about this to see if this is a best practice with businesses in Washington State. ********Update***** Mike from Zip Locksmith called me five minutes ago and helped to resolve the disputed price. I am very honest so I accept the resolution to refund me back $53. I want to share that it would be best for folks to understand that when you are quoted a price over the phone and received a different quote at the door --->>>>please call Zip Locksmith back to inform them so that you don't get over charged. I don't think its anyone's intentional mistake, however it would be best to understand how the system works in this particular scenario. Kudos to Zip Locksmith for following up and providing a resolution and remedy for something that I was paying double for. For a company to own up to it and help a customer resolve --> This speaks a lot to the investment commitment to service.

I called Zip Locksmith to have a lock fixed and the technician came to my home in 45 minutes which was fast. He immediately assessed the issue and was able to change my lock quickly. He did all of this quietly as I was on a conference with my job. He also was able to allow me to keep the same key I previously had and he told me a little history about my lock. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The price also was very good compared to the other locksmiths I called. Thanks so much guys.

Dave seemed like a really good guy. He did a really good job installing the new locks and after he finished, we got to chatting it up a bit. I found out a bit about him and got the sense that he was a nice man just looking to make an honest living. Supporting him would be a good choice because he is so nice.

I almost cancelled on them last minute but they were nice enough to work around my schedule. Not knowing how long the job would take as a single parent who has to pick the children up from school, my main concern was having to leave while the locksmith was still working. Because of that, I wanted to back out of my appointment, but the locksmith handled it very respectfully and gave me an alternate time that worked for the both of us. Awesome company!

They are very honest as well. No push for an up charge. No unnecessary repairs or replacements. The locksmith that came out for us made sure our deadbolt couldn't be repaired before suggesting we purchase a new one. I'd make them first call for any locksmith needs.
