ZERO-ZERO STARS WARNING!!! Little to no investment knowledge on our part, this is why we hired "professionals" to handle our finances. We TRUSTED you. Just at the most critical time in our lives, these people financially destroyed us. Sixty four year old pensioner and disabled wife invested $425,000.00 with Abacus and Portfolio Strategies for retirement. Freedom eighty five for us now. These people lack integrity and no fiduciary duty at all. Ruined our retirement years all for what,? Commission? Thanks to you, our family and friends are hesitant to invest, after learning about our loses with Abacus and Portfolio Strategies. 40 years of saving for our retirement ...lost. I wanted to write about my experience with Taylor Zimmerman at Abacus Wealth Management, as I couldn't ask for better service and advice. When I showed up at Taylor's office 3 years ago, I was a newly divorced single mom of small children with little income and significant concern about my and my children's future. Taylor, not only listened to my story, but provided me wonderful and enduring advice of handling of insurance at that moment. Fast forward to significant improvement in my financial position, Taylor has consistently knocked it out of the park with advice of about additional insurances and investments both personally and professionally putting me in an excellent current and future financial position. I have recommended him to many friends and colleagues and will continue to do so. Thank you so much, Taylor for your time, knowledge and patience.

My financial planner at Abacus is great. He took the time to know that I was a low risk investor because I don't like how much markets can fluctuate and modeled my investments around that. He also took the time to outline the risks if I chose not to participate in being a client; saving is a joint effort with him and I like the feeling of collaborating rather than being disengaged. Since he's a financial planner we got to a clear understanding of the financial decisions he should and could be a part of, even things like buying a car or paying off debt. Because he has strategies that I don't know about, and implementing them so far has put me in a much better position than if I had done it on my own or through the bank. Being disengaged or unwilling to be educated is usually when people feel they've been mistreated and neither my advisor or myself wanted that. It is great that he had the ability to get investments that fit so many types of people and does regular reviews with me to make sure he's aware of any and all changes like my earnings or upcoming financial requirements I have. The rest of the Abacus Wealth Management office and team are kind and professional. They have always made me feel comfortable going there. I will continue to highly recommend them to anyone.
