Great office and environment! Learned a lot!

I am sure that WFG has a decent products, but if they offer you a job, be aware it is a pyramid scheme. About 3 years ago, I was working at a McDonald's drive thru, and a customer who came through said he really liked my service, thought I was a great employee, etc. He gave me his card and told me to come for an interview for a job. As a 19y/o minimum wage employee, it was impossible to say no. I went to the "interview" and there were about 25 other people there. There was an hour long presentation which everybody had to sit through describing what the company did and our soon to be role in it. They will tell you the best part of the job is making a difference to people and their families. It was very pushy, and their mantra really gets to you. It had a very 'religious' atmosphere, in a sense. Essentially, they will want you to sell their product to friends and family (or door to door) which is kind of an insurance broker service, if I remember correctly. They will set you up for a second interview if you are still interested. In the second interview, they will explain in further detail what you will be required to do. This was 2 on 1, as opposed to 25 people in a presentation room. They asked me what my goals for the job would be, and I said I would like to make more than I was at McDonalds (minimum wage). They told me "possibly, with some hard work in about a year". They asked for roughly $200 at the end of the interview. I filled out my information on their application form with a fake credit card number and left the SIN blank. Again, they are very pushy. If you are a customer, their product is possibly very good, I don't know as I never really took a look at it. If they offer you a job, be aware that it is a pyramid scheme, with a portion of your sales going to the person who offered you the job, and anybody you hire will have a portion of their sales going to you. You will be expected to generate your own clients. Unless you are a cut throat salesman through and through, just pass, they literally told me I would make more at McDonalds.
