I have been going to H&R Block for over 10years and this place has some very nice staff but also so very stupid and Rude staff, for One: for the last 6-7 years they have repeatedly put the wrong address on my tax return this has caused delays and even an all out stop of my refunds every year I have to double check my address cause there staff is beyond hopeless,, now this year they went beyond rude, I just got my Disability Tax Credit, and I was told in the letter from the GOVERNMENT, I'm suppose to get over 10years of back taxes, now I understood it might take a while but the girl said a week, and she said I wont get a lot back, that's not what my aunt a chartered accountant has said, not to mention I called after a week and the lady doing my taxes couldn't find my file!, the receptionist who is very nice, said she would get her to call me when they are done, so another week goes by, and I call again and I explain how I had an appointment 2 weeks ago to the day! and had my taxes done and I still haven't had a call back, so the receptionist takes my information, and some lady not the one doing my taxes and not the receptionist gets on the phone, she was rude, and had a sharp tone to her voice, she said your taxes are here and this is how much you owe $$, and I explained again that I never got a phone call telling me they where done, she starts getting ruder saying they are done now so come pick them up and PAY!!!! wow she didn't even apologize for the bad service, I didn't deserve that treatment, I will no longer be a client of theirs, and my brother who has a million dollar trucking company will never go there, and neither will his clients. I feel this lady discriminated against me because she saw my income is from Person's with disability assistance, I may be on PWD now but I have worked all my life, even with a deteriorating disc disorder in my lower and upper back, I had open heart surgery from the time I was 2 days old to 16yrs, and I still worked until 2012 when I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I cant believe how rude these people are they are not Professional. I have worked in business for years, and I would never talk to a client that way.
