Nice Scotiabank but I do prefer the one on Devonshire/Springbank. This one is more for business as there's no real evening banking nor Saturdays which the Devonshire location offers. It's a clean building and the staff are friendly. Convenient for those in the core with nearby parking.

Recently I went in this branch with a significant certified cheque to pay off a vehicle loan. Noticed a few weeks later that my payment was still coming out of my account, I called the head office in Toronto and they hadn't received my funds. I then inquired at the branch as to what happened to my funds, they had to launch an internal investigation and it was concluded that they have no idea where my certified cheque went. The branch manager could not even take the time to apologize or give my a reasonable explanation. Thankfully the Toronto head office has been a tremendous help for me and guided me through getting this mess resolved. Maybe customers are better off making such transactions at larger branches in larger cities to avoid the stress and hardship that I've had to endure.

As a student this is a great place to open a bank for yourself and usually not busy for when you would want to do any banking
