Have had Cords work on 12+ engines over the years. They always do a thorough job, assist with locating parts when required, but are happy to install owner supplied parts as well. I haven't stumped them yet.

Awful. I brought an engine in for a rebuild. Terrible experience, They cracked the block and wouldn't admit to it. I brought it back for the "warranty" they offer on all there engines and it was refused. I had to pay for them to fix it and they slathered epoxy over the crack and told me they fixed it. It cost more than expected to have the engine built and communication was terrible one day it was just suddenly "ready" It was taped up and waiting for me despite being incomplete (rear main seal, oil pan, oil squirter bolts in the block, valve covers). I paid for valve seals to be changed they gave me the bag of new valve seals I provided back un opened clearly reusing the original valve stem seals. I wanted to use a Multi layer steel headgasket they refused and told me multiple times that they didn't exist however any internet search reveals they are plentiful for my engine and recommended. If you are looking for somewhere to rebuild your engine go else where and save yourself a lot of regret.
