Was a very nice place to visit a very nice tourist attraction in the area. And the bistro... superb! I highly recommend making a stop here if you are nearby. One of the most beautiful lakes I’ve been to the scenery is amazing and there is a path that goes completely around the lake so you can explore the entire area! Excellent doesn’t even begin to describe the experience you will have here!

WOW! Amazing color and beautiful hike around lake. The left side of the lake trail, beginning at trailhead, is flat, shady, and good for strollers, with lovely views of the lake. At the far end, the trail is sunny, but there is a bridge and a little stream. The trail continues into a wetter environment, with moss, tree roots, and boardwalks and then ends at the lodge. Parking is crazy, so go early.

Emerald lke is a very beautiful lake. There are a number of hiking trails that start at the lake and one that goes around the lake. The trail around the lake is just over 5k and is easy. The larger challenge will be parking. It is best to arrive early (before 9am) to ensure you are in the lot and don't have a long walk to the lake. There is a small gift shop and canoe rentals.

This was one of our favourite places. We did the hike around the lake and it was really nice. Lots of people, but not too many. We had the hike to ourselves for most of it. Was a awesome visit

We visited Emerald lake for trekking in the first week of May. The winter trail was full of snow, some parts were slushy and others 2 feet plus deep of snow. Unfortunately, we didn’t finish the entire trail because of inadequate trekking gears. It wasn’t that cold at that time but you will need to wear waterproof boots to keep your feet dry and warm. Would love to visit again in the summer to hike the Emerald peak.
