Was approached by Page late last year. Had found my CV online and had a fantastic opportunity for me. Went along to a meeting and was put forward for the role. Usual sales pitch spiel that, even if I didn't get it their would be lots of other great opportunities as lots of experience on CV. After 3 interviews I was the successful candidate and got the role. Quit my very secure job of 7 years and started new role in January, after 3 weeks new employer decided it wasn't working out, sacked me with immediate effect. Called recruiter, expecting them to be fairly sympathetic and at least a wee bit responsible for the situation and hopeful they would endeavour to find me work asap. Heard absolutely nothing back from them. Don't even return my calls. Currently taking ex employer through ACAS. Wish there was a similar course of action I could pursue with Page. Money is clearly the greatest asset here. People can so easily be chewed up and spat out and made unemployed for no good reason. At least Jonny Shiny Shoes still gets his big fat commission.

The recruiter never came back to me. I wasted my time meeting her. I'm definitely sure she just wanted to meet me in order to get the contact details from my previous employers. I don't recommend this recruitment agency. Better support small businesses.

Time waster, always contact you about great opportunity but they are never able to give you feedbacks... it's silent radio! You call, email, they can't be bothered coming back to you. So unprofessional.

Messed about by a recruiter who claimed she would call me for a telephone interview at Michael Page, for a recruitment consultant job opening they had, and never heard from her again after connecting via linkedin, and speaking on the phone twice..... It's disappointing to be messed about by this and have my preparation for an interview go to nothing. I wasn't so surprised however because my emails and LinkedIn responses to the job spec / arranging follow up calls were constantly ignored and I had to chase continually!

A complete waste of time. Stay away. Alex Le Riviere is a liar.
