I cannot say enough good things about AppleOne Employment Services! Thanks to them, I have a great new job which I love. Kayleigh and Erin were very helpful and great to work with. They really made the job interviewing process seem a lot less daunting!

Ask for Dominique! She has gone above and beyond to assist me with finding employment here and there and right now I'm working a Temp Job that is inspiring. I am thankful for the experience. She hears you out on what your looking for and she does a great job at getting the rate your looking for. I'm still searching for steady employment but thanks to her diligence I can still survive the tough time I'm in. If you don't communicate what you will and wont do then your going to be disappointed but when your specific everything starts moving quickly. Best of Luck Everyone!!!

I have worked with AppleOne (Act-1) over the years and had very, very good luck with finding work with them. In fact, through different recruiters I was working constantly. Many gigs with government offices were extended, and I was hired full time with three jobs. I got a lot of experience working here. I commuted to all of these gigs by MTA and never had problems getting to work. I was laid off recently and didn't hesitate with contacting AppleOne to get a job. But I found my experience this last time to be frustrating and a bit demoralizing. If I have any advice with dealing with AppleOne, it's to look up and prepare yourself for their administrative tests "PROVE IT!" (I get shivers thinking about it) DO, DO ask for practice tests in all the required programs, and don't attempt to perform the final test until you feel you got the hang of it. I found, even though I work with these programs EVERYDAY, the PROVE IT test was easy to screw up on. A part of the problem is that most programs have multiple ways to complete a function in the real world, and the PROVE IT tests will only allow for one or two variations. Not for the shortcuts that many busy admins learn when doing our day to day jobs. So, right out the gate, my scores were poor. My experience and resume didn't seem to mean squat anymore. Also, it seems AppleOne has seen a shift in the types of office jobs they offer. (Or at least, that's what I was told.) So many of the gigs require Bachelor's or Master's Degree's by the employers for just answering their phones and filing. (At least, that's what I was told.) And they seem to have an aversion to the fact I commute to work by MTA instead of driving. (Surprisingly enough people, it is a reliable form of transportation. I've been commuting by train and bus for YEARS in LA, haven't had any issues.) So, it's been months and I haven't been called out to anything, and when I have tried to call or email them (always in a very professional tone), the responses have been short and curt, giving me the impression that I'm bothering them by asking for a follow up. So in short, if you have your s@#$ together out the gate, AppleOne might be able to find you work. Practice those unforgiving PROVE IT tests like your job depended on it. (It does) And when they ask if you have a reliable form of transportation, never tell them you commute by train or bus.

Good people. Found a good job for me as soon as I moved out there. Ask for Tamy.

Online process was very quick and neat. I got called the day before my interview and was totally dismissed because my experience was recent. They apologized, saying there was nothing they could do and that was it. I was very disappointed with their service.
