I Adore Southpointe. I chose Dr. Wendy James after some extensive vet shopping. We've also seen Dr. Ball and she's wonderful. Staff are all very kind, clinic is always wellmaintained and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable and supportive. I have an intact show dog, and Wendy has been fantastic dealing with her and is very understanding, which can be sometimes difficult to find in a vet. This clinic is a gem, and I can't imagine going anywhere else!

I have so many positive experiences with all the people at this clinic. I have had to put pets to sleep and their kindness and loving support has been such a blessing. I always feel listened to and have always felt that we are a team taking care of my fur babies and that is really important to me. i am grateful that you guys are always just a phone call away.

I went here for the first time yesterday; went to have my cat put to sleep. They had a room nicely set up and a soft bed that my cat settled into to get comfortable. They were very accommodating and I was impressed with their service. If my other cat needs anything I’ll be sure to use this place. Highly recommended.

We correctly placed our complete trust in Southpointe for all 12 years of care for our cherished Yorkshire Terrier. Even when we moved to a different quadrant of the city, it was well worth the trip for our pet to get the premium care, as we always felt that Compassion over Profit was Southpointe’s mantra. We were never disappointed. And when the very sad day arrived (when meds were no longer effective) where we had to do the right thing to end the pain and suffering of our loyal companion, Southpointe fully understood the situation. They had a special room set up with a waterfall and calming music to make a deeply sad day just a little better, providing a peaceful environment for the last minutes of our pet’s life. The staff were very compassionate and sympathetic throughout the ordeal. Although end-of-life arrangements are probably not your current concern, we found it comforting to learn that Southpointe gets it and are set up to handle your worst day in a professional and understanding manner.

My dog has been to Dr. Wendy since he as a puppy, he is now 12. He even had to stay at the vet a few days for kennel cough when young and still LOVED going to see Wendy. We left the city and I still do the 1.5 hour drive to bring him back to her. Although seeing the vet where I live now made him realize what Wendy actually does so now he doesn’t get excited. Amazing care and would recommend them to anyone.
