Dr. Eva saw my chameleon today. She is very knowledgeable on the species, and especially the breed. She was very kind and easy to ask questions to. She explained everything clearly and thoroughly and made sure we didn't have any questions during and after the appointment. She was able to accommodate xrays during our visit, and was very honest about the procedures and treatments, and gave us a very clear game plan for our little guy. We were given a heating pad right away so he could stay warm, and everyone seemed to handle him gently and carefully. All of the staff we talked to today were very nice, especially the technician who went over all the medications and showed us how to administer them. I would highly recommend Dr. Eva for all exotics, and will definitely continue to use this clinic in the future as well. Thank you, Dr. Eva and staff!

Do NOT bring your pets here unless you want them to be over medicated, over tested and your wallet gouged!!! I have a bunny that had head tilt, I previously had a bad experience with this vet so I really didn’t want to take him there but my other vet was full and said it was an emergcy to get him in ASAP. I dropped my bun off for the initial $100 check up (fairly standard) but they suggested an additional over $600 is exams, x-rays and samples. They mentioned it also could just be an ear infection or this other thing that effects 60% of the buns in the area.... I decided try and treat the ear infection and the other thing to see how that went first. When I picked my bun up they suggested 7!! Different medicines/treatments!! I started asking what each thing was for .. She told me to start force feeding the bun even though I told her he was eating fine, she prescribed something to help him go to the bathroom even though I told her he was stressed and normally doesn’t go out of his litter box (they also had different litter and he was obviously stressed). After refusing 3 of the medications it was still $280 ! (On top of the $100 exam). When they showed me how to give the bun medicine it was a little aggressive .. they wrap him up so he can’t move and put the seringe in his mouth. When I got home I could just pet him and put it in his mouth gently .. no need to force him or wrap him up at all. I already wasn’t going to go back but then I get close to the end of medicating and I realize they didn’t give me enough for the days/dose that they told me ... I had to drive all the way back out there and they were going to make me pay for “additional” medication !!!!! Thank goodness I actually asked what everything was for and knew my bun better than the number they treated Him like. This was expensive but it could have been much worse ! Bun is totally fine and a lot happier because I didn’t jam food down his throat unessicarly.

Eva was very knowledgeable about my Guinea Pig and gave great help and information. Highly recommend this place for exotic animals. I learned a ton I didn't know about feeding and taking care of my piggies 😊

My daughter has taken her Cavies and Bunnies to Dewinton Vet and it is amazing . A beautiful establishment. Inviting, comfortable and clean enviroment with fun whimsical Art. We are well taken care of and Eva she is very kind compassionate and detailed Doctor of Animals. I love how she says"Hi family" makes us feel very much at home. We Trust her knowledge of Animals which makes us better people when making decisions for our pet friends; even the hard ones she is there for us all. Thank you! Sheila Harris
