I have been a longterm patient to this clinic. 15+ years. I have gone through 4 different doctors since I started going because they keep leaving and being replaced. 2 great, and 2 awful! Now I am told my doctor is gone and the remaining doctors cannot take on extra patients so I'm SOL. They cannot tell me if they are hiring doctors to replace those who left. I have friends who have been going for only 5 years to this clinic, but they're somehow OK to stay. The receptionists keep repeating that there are no family doctors in the Bow Valley and no one is taking new patients. I used to manage medical practices for over 20 years and would never let this happen. There's a reason doctors don't like this clinic...probably not treated well or being charged through the nose to be there. It's never a full wait room. I called around and miraculously there are doctors in the Bow Valley who ARE taking patients. Who knew?? Badly managed, I feel sorry for the doctors working there and I'm embarrassed for them. I've never seen or heard of patients being abandoned like this at any practice I've known.

I have an amazing doctor there.. but I've been trying to call for days and I can never get through. Really difficult to want to keep my doctor if I can't even get in touch with the clinic.

So this place is trying to charge me 200 bucks for a a missed appointment when I did not even live in town the manger that talked to on the phone was the most rude person I have ever talked to now they will not even help me unless I pay them I would recommend any where but this place just because of the rude office manger . I also need my proscription and was told by doctors not to skip days this lady tells me it's not her problem and I can't see a doctor go to the hospital so now I'm going to a busy hospital taking there time up instead of something that could have been done in 15 mins by phone .

Visited a couple of weeks ago as a walk-in and was super impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the staff! (Dr. Emma Morin + lovely receptionist! (Australian?))

I’m not typically one to write poor reviews. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially receptionists who I’m sure receive a lot of abuse in their days. However, this was absolutely uncalled for and I am quite hurt and frustrated. I saw a doctor through the Telus Health app due to concerns regarding my lungs and heart. The doctor sent me a requisition for an echocardiogram and a 24 hr holter monitor after some concerns with an ECG. As I’m waiting for my upcoming appointments, the doctor encouraged me to visit a walk-in clinic so that an ‘in-person’ doctor can do a physical examination (lung sounds, heart sounds, blood pressure because how else would I know if I’m hypertensive?) Today, August 7, my partner called on my behalf as I was sleeping after coming off night shift. I had emailed my health care card, ID and new patient form prior. My partner explained that an online physician had requested that I see a doctor in person and that I just required a brief physical exam. The receptionist began yelling (yes, yelling) at her demanding more information or they would not be able to help me. She recommended going to the ER which makes absolutely no sense as this is not an acute medical emergency. In the end she said “If I book him in he’ll have some explaining to do. I don’t know that we’ll even see him for this.” In the end, my partner did not allow them to book me in. We decided that we did not feel comfortable with the level of professionalism at this clinic. It’s quite disheartening as I’m feeling quite anxious about the state of my health and yet I’m essentially being turned away. Perhaps I’m missing something; but even so, it is absolutely uncalled for, as a receptionist, to yell at the people who call your clinic.
