My pug says he's very happy with their attention to him! He had started to have problems with walking as far as usual. We already knew he had back and hip issues so we started with that. I took him to another place that had a water treadmill but he couldn't go for more than 5 minutes so we started to think something else was going on. We were referred to a wonderful neurologist here. It only took a few minutes for her to know it wasn't his back or hips causing his problems. She gave us a possible diagnosis but needed blood work to confirm. Unfortunately, it came back positive for the disease she had thought, which it like MS in people and only affects pugs. I was able to take that info to our regular vet and he's managing the disease now. If we hadn't gone here, I doubt we'd have a diagnosis and wouldn't have been able to care for him like we need to, to slow the disease. I'm very impressed by the whole team that helped my pug baby!

My dog Coco got into some baking chocolate last night and I was a wreck with worry! We got him into VSC very quickly and they treated him promptly and were very upfront with us on pricing. All in all an overnight stay, heart monitoring, and many medications cost about 1000.00, they worked with us on payment options and told us about a credit option we could apply for if we needed. I've seen some reviews complaining of the cost, but treating medical issues in animals can be expensive just like with people, all in all I think that the people at VSC were compassionate and honest about pricing and they gave me an itemized list of services and I thought the price was very reasonable. Thankfully I got a call this morning that Coco is in the clear and could come home where he belongs! He's snuggling with me and our other pup now! I'm so grateful to the doctors and support staff who took such good care of my sweet boy!

The price is high, but I expect that at an emergency room. The people were increadibly compassionate. We brought in a stray having seizures and the receptionist grabbed the box and raced it back to the docs before even getting our name.. It was clear that saving her life was priority. In the end they weren't able to save her, but Michelle was very kind. I highly recommend them for emergencies.

I've had two poor experiences here. 1) My daughter had a gerbil that was not doing well so we brought it in. They said they'd observe it overnight, hydrate it, and take whatever action was needed (if any). We went to the back room to check in on the gerbil before leaving, and I was surprised there was a half-dozen young people working back there, laughing and goofing off quite a bit. The next morning we got a call that our gerbil had passed on. The bill was over $350. Nothing was done, no services, just watched it pass away. We could've done that at home and saved $300. I guess we have to pay all those teens to goof around though. 2) My older dog just had almost $2,000 worth of tests and exploratory work because she was coughing badly. Our regular vet recommended this place. All the work was done, but then the follow up was horrible. A short phone call from the doc with no instructions or conclusions, and a paper report a few days later that said nothing about "next steps" or "recommended action". We just went to our regular vet (months later) for our annual checkup and she asked how the steroid treatment went. What? How can you get $2,000 worth of work done and it not be made perfectly clear to the owner what's supposed to be done next? My dog's been in pain for months now because nobody told us the next steps to take and the paper report was nothing but medical jargon, with nothing that said "diagnosis", "next steps", "medications suggested" or anything at all. Doing "work" without communicating the results to the owner clearly is completely useless. Pretty disappointed overall. Service is okay, follow-up and bedside manner could use a lot of work, seem very happy to take your money regardless. If my dog(s) need more help that we can't get at our regular vet, I'll be asking for a different referral.

I took my dog in here 3 weeks ago because he was limping. They said he would be fine he needs pain meds and rest. He's still limping and took him in to another veterinary clinic. He has a ruptured ligament and needs surgery. I let my dog limp around and be in pain because of the lack of attention these people gave him. Take your animal here on your own risk.
